Back in early December I teamed up with violinist and friend Ben Baker to put on a concert in aid of a wonderful called called MOAS - the Migrant Offshore Aid Station. I was touched not just at how many people attended and donated money, but also at how many wonderful musicians gave up their time to come perform in the orchestra. Despite the intimate venue we raised over £1k - MOAS tells us will pay for one of their boats to spend a day at sea rescuing people.
Classical music journalist David Nice has written up this lovely piece about it which you can find here.
We'll be doing another charity concert on 28th February - get in touch for more details.
